Success Story #16
|
|
From Bankruptcy to a Growing Nest Egg!
I have a great success story for you
today sent in by a lady named Pearl.
Her story is quite timely because this
month's (July 2007) 'Money Magazine' has a CD with
a free copy of 'Simply Budgets 1st Steps'
software on the front cover.
'1st Steps' is a cut-down version of
the 'Simply Budgets Personal Edition'.
Some time ago '1st Steps' was also on
the CD on the front cover of a popular
PC magazine and today's success story
relates to that.
Here is the e-mail I received from Pearl.
David,
I have enjoyed reading the success
stories over the months.
I've also enjoyed receiving the
newsletters and would like to say
thank you for continuing to send them.
I have to admit though that I became
rather discouraged hearing about
everyone's success, because I had
become bankrupt 25 months ago and
believed that my finances were in
such a state that I would never get
off the ground to begin to be
successful ever again although deep
inside I hoped I could!
After some self talk, I decided that
because I couldn't afford to purchase
the full version of "Simply Budgets"
just yet that I would begin with the
version of Simply Budgets that came
with a magazine I purchased some time
ago called "Simply Budgets - First Steps."
By simply following the steps of the
Budget in the last 10 months I've
purchased furniture that I desperately
needed, and am happy to report that
I've started transferring $30 per
fortnight from my pension account into
a high interest investment account.
It may not be a very big bank balance
just yet, but at least I can say that
I have a bank balance and its growing.
As my financial state increases so will
the amount that will be transferred.
I have hope now and believe that my
financial future looks brighter thanks
to you and "Simply Budgets First Steps".
I look forward with excitement to
purchasing the full version of "Simply
Budgets" soon, and then being able to
plan better for long term financial
success.
Thanking you once again.
Pearl G.
There you have it; from bankrupt to
saving for a better financial future
and getting excited about the prospects!
Thank you to Pearl for giving us all a
bit of belief that we too can change
direction for the better no matter
what our circumstances.
